Company releases its NA Corporate Social Responsibility Report for 2019

Woburn, MA – January 10, 2020 – Kaspersky North America today released its annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report, profiling the company’s continued commitment to giving back to its  community and sharing details on the company’s efforts in 2019.

In 2019, Kaspersky North America supported a record-breaking 37 U.S.-based non-profit organizations, including the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, Cradles 2 Crayons, Woburn Council for Social Concern, the American Red Cross, Junior Achievement, Boston Children’s Hospital and Habitat for Humanity. Charitable events ranged from an in-office letter drive, flag placement at veterans’ graves, feeding women at Rosie’s Place and various fundraisers benefitting local charities.

“This year we continued to make giving back to our community a priority,” said Alena Reva, vice president of human resources, Kaspersky Americas and Europe. “I am proud to be a part of a company that, for the last 11 years, has tried and succeeded in doing its part for organizations that are important to our employees and company.”

Almost all local and remote employees participated in corporate social responsibility efforts, utilizing their Volunteer Time Off (VTO) provided by the company. VTO can be used for company-organized events or an employee can also use the time for personal volunteer opportunities with charities close to their heart.

“Throughout this year, Kaspersky has given me the ability to help so many people,” said Rob Connors, inside sales manager, Kaspersky North America. “I have been able to give back to my local community and organizations like the Woburn Council of Social Concern, which has been near and dear to my heart for many years.”
