Woburn, MA– February 15, 2019Kaspersky Lab North America today released its annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report, profiling the companies tenth year of continual commitment to giving back to the community.

In 2018, Kaspersky Lab North America supported more than change it to 31 U.S.-based non-profit organizations, including the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, the Woburn Counsel for Social Concern, the American Red Cross, the Jimmy Fund, Boston Children’s Hospital and Habitat for Humanity. Charitable events ranged from an in-office blood drive, flag placement at a veteran’s graves, helping to build homes and various fundraisers benefitting local charities.

“Together, we made it a priority to give back to our local communities. I am extremely proud of Kaspersky Lab North America for not only celebrating 10 years of philanthropy, but for making 2018 a banner year for CSR,” said Alena Reva, vice president of human resources, Kaspersky Lab Americas and Europe. “As a company that prides itself in corporate citizenship, I look forward to the next 10 years of record-setting volunteerism alongside this talented team.”

Over 150 employees participated in corporate social responsibility efforts, utilizing their Volunteer Time Off (VTO) provided by the company. Along with using VTO for company-organized events, employees can also use the time for personal volunteer opportunities with charities they are passionate about in their communities.

“Working with Habitat for Humanity was an incredible experience that allowed me to give back to well-deserving families in need,” said Tod Johnson, enterprise account manager, Kaspersky Lab North America. “Working for a company that encourages me to volunteer for not only programmed events set up by the company, but for organizations that are meaningful to me, is an amazing opportunity that more people should take advantage of.”

Kaspersky Lab North America is a six-time recipient of the Building Impact Award, given to companies that put a strong emphasis on social responsibility through volunteerism and philanthropy in the community.
