The force to be reckoned with: more crime-fighters join army against ransomware - Forbes

The No More Ransom alliance, launched with Kaspersky Lab, Europol, the Dutch police, and Intel Security, has found more allies in the fight against ransomware. Eugene Kaspersky shares the news that law enforcement from thirteen additional countries, including France, the United Kingdom, and Spain, have joined the No More Ransom project, strengthening the network of countries dedicated to alleviating the international threat of ransomware. Along with new members joining, more than 2,500 victims were able to decrypt their data, with more than $1 million dollars already saved, thanks to the global initiative.
