A recent report from Kaspersky Lab indicates that malware numbers may have peaked, with the average number of new malware files found daily decreasing from 325,000 in 2014 to 310,000 in 2015. Kaspersky warns that this is not an indicator of a safer cyberspace, with the number of users personally targeted increasing by 5%, but an indication of a changing cyberspace with cybercriminals looking for a quick return.
