Company to present and support one of the largest ICS cybersecurity conferences
Woburn, MA – January 8, 2019–Kaspersky Lab today announces that Vladimir Dashchenko, head of vulnerability research, and Alexander Nochvay, security researcher at Kaspersky Lab, will both be presenting a session, “CoDeSys Fail," at the S4x19 ICS Cybersecurity Conference in Miami, FL on January 15, 2019.
Who: Vladimir Dashchenko is the head of vulnerability research for Kaspersky Lab ICS CERT. Alexander Nochvay is a security researcher for Kaspersky Lab ICS CERT.
What: During the “CoDeSys Fail” session, Dashchenko and Nochvay will present their research on the current CoDeSys Runtime. Their talk will include: describing how security architecture issues lead to liability issues, demonstrating new vulnerabilities in the CoDeSys Runtime (both architecture and protocol), explaining the impact of blind trust by the OEM in terms of security, as well as a discussion around possible detection and prevention mechanisms for asset owners.
When: The “CoDeSys Fail” presentation is on January 15, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET, stage 2.
Where: S4x19 ICS Cybersecurity Conference, January 14 – 17, 2019, in Miami South Beach, FL.
