What: Kaspersky Lab has partnered with non-profit iKeepSafe, and will raise money for the organization throughout the RSA Conference. Why: The unofficial motto of Eugene Kaspersky is: “we’re here to save the world.” Saving the world starts with making the next generation of digital citizens as educated as possible about online threats. Schools and other public-sector organizations often grapple with budget shortages and outdated equipment, and iKeepSafe has the partnerships and insight to get the necessary information into the hands of people who need it most.
iKeepSafe produces books, newsletters, training tips, and other materials with the goal of giving educators and parents resources to teach youths how to use new online tools in safe and healthy ways.

Tuesday, February 26, 3:50 - 4:50pm / session code: EXP-T19 / room 134
Session Abstract: The IT Security industry (IT Sec) needs to keep detecting any and all cyber war threats—regardless of origin or purpose, plus move its focus from mass epidemics to pinpointed strikes, while resisting pressure that comes to bear on it for doing so.
