Kaspersky Lab Survey: IT Pros Confused about Virtual Security

Just because many security pros are considered experts, it doesn’t mean they know everything about protection methods, according to Kaspersky Lab. The endpoint security solutions provider recently conducted a worldwide survey of IT professionals, which found that about one in four IT security experts have little to no understanding of the available virtual security options.

The higher-than-expected percentage of misinformed professionals in the survey suggests the many nuances of virtualized environments and the various ways in which to protect them is something that even industry veterans are still struggling to grasp. Read more.
