Kaspersky Lab North America Promotes Jim Sullivan to Vice President, SMB Sales
Kim Stevens Appointed as Director, VAR Channel Sale
Woburn, MA – February 9, 2015 –Kaspersky Lab North America announced today the promotion of Jim Sullivan to the position of Vice President, SMB Sales. In this role, Jim will be responsible for overseeing and directing Kaspersky Lab’s small business and mid-market sales organizations in the region, including managing all new business and existing customer growth for commercial and public sector segments. He will report to Mike Parise, SVP, Corporate Sales.
Prior to the promotion, Jim served as Director of VAR Channel Sales, Kaspersky Lab North America. Under Jim’s leadership, new business bookings with Value Added Resellers grew 31 percent, and sales with existing customers have grown 46 percent. As a testament to Jim’s expertise in midmarket sales, he was named a Top Midmarket Executive by Midsize Enterprise Summit. Jim has over a decade of experience in working in the IT security space. Prior to joining Kaspersky Lab in January 2012, Jim was a top salesperson who held leadership positions in direct sales and channel sales at Sophos
The Company also announced the appointment of Kim Stevens to the positon of Director of VAR Channel Sales. In this role, Kim will be responsible for the Value Added Reseller strategy and sales performance. Kim joins Kaspersky Lab from NEC Corporation where she was charged with forging and expanding NEC’s North American alliances, sales, and marketing functions for NEC’s Enterprise Servers. Prior to NEC, Kim served as Director, Channel Sales at Acronis. Prior to that, she was a National Account Manager with EMC, a Channel Manager with LeftHand Networks (acquired by HP), Cisco, and McDATA where she established her expertise and success in working with channel partners. At the beginning of her career, Kim spent 10 years with IBM, three as a Systems Engineer and seven in Channel Sales. Kim will report to John Murdock, VP, Channel Sales.
