Kaspersky Aims to Overtake Trend Micro

I recently had the pleasure of being hosted by Kaspersky Lab in Moscow for a global press event where the Russian security software vendor laid out its ambitious plans for the next three to five years. The company, which is primarily an antivirus vendor, plans a rapid expansion into content filtering, threat and vulnerability management, and data loss prevention (DLP). Through its partners and a slew of new products, Kaspersky plans to break out of its consumer revenue base and penetrate deeper into the B2B market and, specifically, the enterprise segment.
