Google has shut down an operation that combined malicious AdSense advertisements with a zero-day attack exploiting Chrome for Android to download banking fraud malware. The move comes after Kaspersky Lab researchers discovered just how the trojan was able to download itself while bypassing Google Chrome browser permissions, affecting about 318,000 Android devices.
