Kaspersky named the most popular desktop security solutions provider by AV-Comparatives

Woburn, MA – March 17, 2023 — According to AV-Comparatives independent test of anti-virus software, Kaspersky was named as the top most used desktop security product worldwide, and was ranked in the top two position in North America, Europe, Asia and South America for the most used desktop anti-malware security solution.

Due to the widespread adoption of hybrid work models, personal laptop and mobile phone usage during the working day has dramatically increased. Keeping in mind a growing level of cyberattacks and data leakages caused by employee negligence on such devices, security software for both desktop and mobile operating systems more important than ever. As a result, AV-Comparatives disseminated their annual survey of over 2,600 respondents to improve service to the end-user on the subject of IT security.

Almost 45% of respondents said they do not use security solution on their mobile phones at all. Of those surveyed who do use a mobile anti-malware security solution, Kaspersky was again ranked in the top two position in North America, Europe, Asia and South America.
