Kaspersky Threat Data Feeds, APT Intelligence Reports and Threat Lookup service will provide EclecticIQ customers with the expertise needed to enhance their understanding, prevention and reaction to the latest cyber threats.
Woburn, MA – January 30, 2020 –Kaspersky is pleased to announce a new partnership with EclecticIQ Platform which now gives business users access to the company’s world class threat intelligence. Kaspersky Threat Data Feeds, APT Intelligence Reports and Threat Lookup service will provide EclecticIQ customers with the expertise needed to enhance their understanding, prevention and reaction to the latest cyber threats.
A survey of IT Security leaders commissioned by Kaspersky revealed that the role of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) analysts is amongst the most challenging position to hire, and nearly half (49%) of chief information security officers (CISOs) agree. Understaffing in this area may result in existing experts being encumbered with work. To prevent this, Kaspersky’s collaboration with EclecticIQ helps CTI analysts receive relevant information from a single entry point instead of searching for and matching different sources.
The Threat Intelligence platform (TIP) from EclecticIQ collects intelligence from open sources and commercial suppliers as well as industry partnerships and makes them available in a central resource, empowering threat and SOC analysts with the latest relevant and actionable context on cyber threats. This allows the analysts to stop or swiftly respond to threats through their existing security infrastructure.
With this integration, users can draw on Kaspersky’s threat intelligence, including access to latest Threat Data Feeds, online search through historical TI using Kaspersky Threat Lookup (which contains petabytes of information about threats), legitimate objects and their various relationships, and Kaspersky APT Intelligence Reports which reveals methods, tactics and tools used by advanced malefactors.
EclecticIQ’s cyber threat intelligence analysts also use data to provide additional services to clients through its Fusion Center. The center delivers thematic intelligence bundles, providing customers with a curated single source of relevant cyber threat information from leading suppliers that is optimized for their organization.
“We are delighted to now offer ourthreat intelligenceto EclecticIQ customers,” said Veniamin Levtsov, vice president of corporate business at Kaspersky. “EclecticIQ is focused on providing security intelligence to governments and enterprises, especially once from the financial sector. “EclecticIQ is constantly thriving to provide CTI analysts with the best possible tools for their work.
