Kaspersky Lab has released research on consumer privacy, finding that while the majority of consumers dislike being tracked, 41 percent of them do nothing about it. Only 27 percent of users turn on their browser’s privacy mode, and 11 percent use a special plug in. Kaspersky Lab has provided some tips on how to stay safe online, including the use of VPN traffic encryption and disabling auto add-on installation.
