Kaspersky Lab is looking to launch FFForget, a real-time encrypted back-up service for social media users to store their data outside the walled garden of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google+. FFForget is envisioned as a fix for the data lock-in issue, as users fear leaving their information behind should they close their social media accounts. A recent Kaspersky Lab survey found that around one-fifth (21 percent) of respondents worry about losing things like their photos should they quit a network.
