Biometric Skimmers Pose Emerging Threat To ATMs - Dark Reading

Kaspersky Lab recently investigated how cybercriminals might be planning to bypass new biometric measures that some banks are using to protect clients information. Cybercriminals have utilized fingerprint scanning in the past, and are seeking ways to manipulate new measures, such as iris and palm vein scanning. According to Kaspersky Lab researchers, criminal organizations have already begun selling skimming devices for those purposes.
