Moscow-based Kaspersky Lab today announced the release of Kaspersky PURE Total Security, a comprehensive security suite designed with homes and families in mind. This product includes all of the features of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 plus important additions like backup and password management, all in a single interface.

The suite's central home security management feature lets the user manage all of a household's PCs from a single location. The user can run scans, updates, and backups on all computers, fix security issues, and manage parental controls remotely. In appearance, target, and scope, it resembles Symantec's Norton 360 Version 4.0.
