Social networking threats are becoming a major new security threat for businesses. According to Proofpoint, roughly 20% of businesses have leaked confidential or sensitive information via a social network. 
Kaspersky Labs found that people are 10 times more likely to click on a malicious link if it appears in their social network versus their e-mail and Panda Security recently found that one third of small-to-medium sized businesses suffered malware infections that began on a social network. Altogether, businesses lose $3.8 million annually to cyber crime.
