Kaspersky Lab Recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Device Management Software

Woburn, MA – June 13, 2013 - Kaspersky Lab today announced that it has been recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Device Management Software*. Kaspersky lab was one of 18 software providers – out of more than 100 which were evaluated –that meet the technical and business requirements for inclusion in this Magic Quadrant.

Gartner analysts evaluate technology providers on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision. ‘Ability to execute’ reflects the quality and efficacy of the processes, systems, methods or procedures that enable IT provider performance to be competitive, efficient and effective, and to positively affect revenue, retention and reputation. ‘Completeness of Vision’ reflects the ability to convincingly articulate logical statements about current and future market direction, innovation, customer needs, and competitive forces, as well as how they map to the Gartner position.

Kaspersky Lab’s main mobile device management (MDM) product - Kaspersky Security for Mobile - was released in 2012.
