Kaspersky Lab announced today a new Software-as-a-Service solution that will provide small and medium-sized businesses with multi-layered IT security – Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud
Woburn, MA – September 1, 2016 –Kaspersky Lab announced today a new Software-as-a-Service solution that will provide small and medium-sized businesses with multi-layered IT security – Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. The solution offers advanced functionality and proven protection1 that can be managed easily via simple cloud-based console with an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Despite the wide range of security products on the market today, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) often struggle to find a comprehensive solution they can implement and afford.Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud has been developed to meet the evolving needs of SMBs and their under-resourced IT teams, as well as the Managed Service Providers (MSP) who support them.
The solution provides businesses with effective protection for Windows workstations, file servers, Android and iOS mobile devices, all through a simple and intuitive console. Based on advanced, multi-layered security technologies, Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud leverages industry leading protection features, including Kaspersky Security Network and System Watcher2, to protect users from both known and emerging threats, including ransomware.
The centralized cloud management console does not require advanced IT skills, significantly reducing the burden on over-stretched IT professionals. It can be used at any time and from any location to remotely distribute software, and to monitor and manage the security of up to one thousand corporate users.
Further, using the cloud console means that companies do not need to purchase additional server hardware or software in order to manage their IT security, making it convenient to budget for capital or operational expenses.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud for MSP
Managed Service Providers (MSPs) also benefit from Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. MSPs often use a number of different vendor solutions for various types of business tasks, such as security management, mobile device management, etc.. They can now use this new solution to provide comprehensive IT security and management to multiple corporate customers via a single multi-tenant console. With pre-set security profiles and the ability to set one security policy for all user devices, it will reduce the time required to onboard new clients. MSPs also benefit from an annual or convenient monthly payment system based on «pay-as-you-go» principles; making it possible to scale the number of protected devices for SMB customers as required.
“Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud provides SMBs with sophisticated technologies that block network attacks and identify existing and emerging threats in a simple and convenient way. It allows SMBs to make the most of limited budgets and headcount, so that they can enjoy advanced protection without reducing the resources available for strategic business development and future growth,” said Vladimir Zapolyansky, Head of SMB Marketing at Kaspersky Lab.
“Managed Service Providers, in turn, gain an efficient tool that they can use to develop their business. Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud allows them to improve the quality of their customer care and guarantee service reliability,” he added.
Participants of Kaspersky Lab’s MSP program enjoy the following benefits:
• Annual or flexible monthly pricing with “pay-as-you-go” system
• Volume-based pricing depending on the total number of managed nodes
• Standard and Extended technical support3
• Access to specialized trainings on IT security
• Marketing and sales support
MSPs have an opportunity to choose between cloud and on-premises models to create new flexible IT security services for their customers. Kaspersky Security for Virtualization and Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business are also available as a part of MSP program. Thus, MSPs can offer clients of any size a full range of services to protect all types of corporate devices (physical, virtual, mobile) while managing all endpoints from the single multi-tenant console.
