Top-selling security software company Kaspersky Lab recently launched updated versions of its two flagship consumer products: Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011. Parents will be most interested in the Internet Security suite, which combines Kaspersky’s robust anti-virus software with additional filtering and security features and strong parental controls
One of the first things you notice after installation of Internet Security 2011 is the color-coded desktop Gadget icon (only available in Windows 7 and Windows Vista), which offers quick access to all the main features. This very cool button also gives you a current “threat-assessment” based on the most recent scan of the computer’s databases: green means everything is OK; yellow or red and there are problems!
