Woburn, MA – August 23, 2013 - Kaspersky Lab announces the update of its security solution for mail servers, Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers. The updated product now supports Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, and includes several improved features and enhanced anti-malware, anti-spam and anti-phishing technologies.

Corporate e-mail is a frequent target among spammers and malicious users, so mail processing systems demand protection. Kaspersky Lab has long offered a high-class response to this demand: Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers, which is the latest powerful solution developed specifically to secure corporate e-mail.

This update brings significant improvements. The updated administration panel, now with a new graphic interface, offers a centralized location of all parameters, on all Microsoft Exchange servers. As well as adding support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, the solution continues to support the 2012 edition.

In addition, the product has a powerful new antivirus engine, providing more reliable detection of malicious objects in an email. A new anti-spam system delivers faster and more efficient spam controls, and is backed up by Reputation Filtering, which provides a further check for suspicious messages and cuts down on false positives. Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers also introduces features to detect and block phishing links in e-mail messages, as well as a new graphic interface.
