Upgrades

If you currently have a version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus or Kaspersky Internet Security installed and would like to upgrade to the latest version, you can do so for free! Make sure you have the activation code from your purchase before proceeding. Upgrading to the most recent version of the product provides you with the most complete protection, and it ensures an easier renewal process.

1. Click the appropriate link below and save the latest version of the product onto your machine.

2. Uninstall your previous version. For directions on how to do this click here.
3. Install the new version by clicking on the new file you downloaded from step one. For installation instructions, please click here.
4. Use the activation code from your previous product to activate the new version. The time remaining on your license will be carried over to the new version. Click here for instructions on how to activate your product.

Renewals

In order to renew your license, you must have a valid license that's either current or has recently expired. It is recommended that you first upgrade (this is a free upgrade) for an easier renewal process. Follow the instructions below to renew your software:

1. Make sure that you are currently using the most up-to-date version of the product you'd like to renew.  See above to upgrade for free to the most recent version.
2. Open the Kaspersky console and click on the “Activation” section.
3. To the right side of the screen, select "Renew Key". This will take you to a secure renewal page with discounted products.
4. Select the product you'd like to renew, how many computers you would like to protect and the number of years you would like the license to last.
5. When you have completed the purchase process, we'll send you a new activation code via email that you can simply add to your existing product. It's that simple!

Note: The Renewal link in the software will only become active when your license is 14 days from expiring. Clicking on this link prior to that time will bring you to the normal page for purchasing without your discount.

If you are having trouble trying to renew

If you purchased online through the Kaspersky web site, you should have received an email with a link to your Exclusive Renewals Page. You will also receive an email one month before your product is set to expire as a reminder. Simply click the link in the email and purchase your renewal software there.

You can renew easily through the latest versions of your Kaspersky Lab software.  If you are having trouble trying to renew, you can submit a request for your personal discount link.  With the information you provide us, we'll verify your online purchase and respond with your personal discount link.
