Install and Activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Mac

If you already have Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Mac installed and need to activate, please click here for activation instructions.

Before you begin:

Please make sure you have removed any previously installed security software from your computer.

Step 1 - Open the Installation File

Open the Kaspersky Anti-Virus file with the extension *.dmg.

In the Kaspersky Anti-Virus window, double-click on the Kaspersky Anti-Virus icon.

In the Introduction window, click Continue to start the installation process.

In the Read Me window, please review the Product Highlights and System Requirements, and then click Continue.

In the License window, please review the Software License Agreement, and then click Continue.

In order to proceed, you will be asked to Agree with the Software License Agreement. Click on Agree to continue the installation process.

Step 2 - Install Process

In the Installation window, click Install to perform a standard installation of the software.

If you wish to change the location where the file will be installed, click Change Install Location. Select where you would like the software to be installed, and then click Continue.

You will be prompted to enter your Mac account username and password. Once you have entered the information, click OK.

You will briefly see the install process copy the installation files to your Mac. Once you see that the installation has been successful, click Close.
