For most of recorded Internet history, Microsoft has had a firm grasp on the title of most targeted software vendor. But that has changed in the last year, as attackers have begun poking a slew of holes in Adobe products. The company has been struggling to defend its products against this onslaught and has added sandbox protection to Reader and made a variety of other improvements to its software development process. But Adobe, which sells some of the more widely deployed products on earth, still has a difficult road ahead of it.
