Kaspersky Lab Hires Senior Management All-Stars: Three New VPs Take Control of B2B and B2C Marketing, and Channel Sales
Woburn, MA – March 22, 2012– Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions, announced today the appointments of three new Vice Presidents to support the company’s momentum and growth. These new executives will bolster Kaspersky Lab’s North American sales and marketing teams, and help Kaspersky Lab continue to thrive while meeting the increasing security needs of enterprises, small businesses, and consumers.
These appointments include:
Christopher Doggett, Vice President Channel Sales, North America—Chris is responsible for overseeing and managing the channel sales organization across North America and reports directly to Nancy Reynolds, SVP, Corporate Sales, North America.
Chris Gaebler, Vice President, Business to Consumer Marketing, North America—Chris is responsible for overseeing and leading marketing efforts supporting Kaspersky Lab’s retail channels, and growing the Company’s e-commerce business. Chris reports directly to Steve Orenberg, President, North America.
Jean Lozano, Vice President, Business to Business Marketing, North America—Jean is responsible for overseeing channel marketing, field marketing and online marketing for North America and reports directly to Steve Orenberg, President, North America.
These executives join Kaspersky Lab amid exciting company momentum and successes. Over the past six months, Kaspersky Lab has announced key additions to its corporate security product portfolio, to ensure businesses will “Be Ready for What’s Next.” In October 2011, Kaspersky Lab unveiled Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8, the Company’s largest B2B product announcement in more than three years. Additional news came in early February 2012, when Kaspersky Lab announced its latest security solution—Kaspersky Security for Virtualization—which allows virtual machines running within VMWare infrastructure to be managed centrally, alongside physical PCs, servers, and mobile devices.
Chris is a recognized global business leader who brings more than 12 years of channel and industry experience. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President of Sales at Financial Recovery Technologies where he was responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the firm’s sales and marketing professionals, strategic partners and independent sales channel.
Prior to FRT, Christopher led Sohpos’ global channel sales organization where he was responsible for key strategic initiatives including creating and implementing Sophos’ Global Partner Program, and launching both the managed services program and the small business online sales program. In his prior role as the Director of Channel Sales for North America, Chris received numerous accolades, including being named a CRN Channel Chief for two consecutive years and was included as a CRN Security Superstar in 2010.
Proven Marketing Strategists: Chris Gaebler & Jean Lozano
Prior to joining Kaspersky Lab, Chris held senior marketing positions at Pulsepoint, a marketing technology company, Sony Electronics, and Accenture, a global management consulting and technology services firm. In all his roles, Chris was responsible for driving customer experience management. He has written and spoken widely about connecting consumer needs with technology solutions, and has presented at many conferences, including The Conference Board, Consumer Electronics Association and Forrester Research. In recent years, he’s also been quoted in outlets including the Wall Street Journal and Advertising Age.
Jean brings more than 10 years of marketing expertise in channel, field and corporate marketing, and has a proven track record of creating and executing marketing programs. Most recently, Jean led Trend Micro’s field and channel marketing teams and was instrumental in conceptualizing and executing their Join the Journey campaign. Her contributions have been recognized by the industry on numerous occasions, and she has appeared on CRN’s Top 100 Female Executives list for the past three consecutive years.
