Kaspersky Lab Appoints William Cunningham Vice President, Enterprise Sales, North America

Woburn, MA – May 14, 2013 - Kaspersky Lab today announced the appointment of William (Bill) Cunningham as Vice President, Enterprise Sales, North America. Bill brings an extensive sales background to his role at Kaspersky Lab with more than two decades of sales management and leadership experience. He will be responsible for overseeing and directing Kaspersky Lab’s enterprise field sales organization in North America, including managing all field sales activity for North American customers. He will report into Chris Doggett, Senior Vice President, Corporate Sales, North America.

Bill joins the company on the heels of recent company momentum including the January 2013 launch of Kaspersky Lab’s new generation of business security solutions, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business. Designed to help businesses overcome the latest challenges in managing a secure, efficient network, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business is the first security platform built from the ground up. Offering features such as Systems Management, Data Encryption and Application Control all from a single, unified management console, IT Administrators of large businesses can account for new complexities and ultimately protect their companies from sophisticated malware targeting them on a daily basis. Bill will work closely with the North American sales teams to continue to establish Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business as the best business information security solution for enterprises.

Most recently Bill served as the Vice President of Sales at WhiteSky, a provider of online identity security where he increased the sale’s pipeline, expanded monetization efforts of company products and revised pricing models to meet a broader market demand. In this role he also secured multiple new business wins for WhiteSky’s products with major companies including the third-largest cable entertainment and broadband service provider in the country.

Before joining Whitesky, Bill served as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Carbonite where he implemented lead generation programs, managed a direct sales force and established a reseller channel program from the ground up that ultimately generated $12 million per year in just over three years.
