Kaspersky Lab Appoints Christopher Doggett as Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales for North America; Christopher Gaebler Senior Vice President of Marketing for North America

Woburn, MA – January 15, 2013 Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions, announced the promotions of Chris Doggett to the role of SVP, Corporate Sales, North America and Chris Gaebler to the role of SVP, Marketing, North America. Previously serving as Vice President of Channel Sales, Chris Doggett will now develop and oversee all of Kaspersky Lab’s business-to-business sales activities.  Chris Gaebler, former VP of Consumer Marketing, will now oversee all North American marketing activities. Both will report directly to Steve Orenberg, President, Kaspersky Lab, North America.

Chris Doggett is a recognized global business leader who brings more than 12 years of B2B, channel and security industry experience.  Since joining Kaspersky Lab in March 2012, Chris has made significant enhancements to Kaspersky Lab’s North American Partner Program.  Under Chris’ direction, Kaspersky Lab established Deal Protection for partners, enhancing pricing control for their sales opportunities by increasing partner margin retention and effectively preventing partners from being underbid on registered deals. Chris also helped Kaspersky Lab introduce its new Managed Services Provider program.  Most notably, he has helped spur partner growth—with expanded support and partner enablement over the past year, most Kaspersky Lab partners achieved sales growth rates that significantly exceeded those of the industry overall while Kaspersky Lab saw double-digit growth rates in its partner community.

Chris Gaebler has demonstrated both the leadership and strategic thinking that are vital for successful product launches and for developing better customer experiences. Since joining the company in early 2012, Chris launched Kaspersky Lab’s most unique and impactful consumer marketing campaign to date, Safeguarding Me. In addition, he led the award-winning direct response campaign, “People of Gotham City Sweepstakes,” a co-marketed initiative with Warner Bros. blockbuster motion picture “The Dark Knight Rises.”  In his short time at the company, Chris has bolstered lead generation capabilities and increased brand awareness for Kaspersky Lab and its consumer products. 

2012 Momentum Paves Way for 2013 Success
Kicking off 2013, Kaspersky Lab has been named a "Leader" in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms for the second year in a row.  This comes on the heels of significant momentum of Kaspersky Lab’s product solutions in 2012 positioning the company for success this year and beyond. After Kaspersky Lab was named a "Leader" in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms in early 2012, there was a drumbeat of recognition to follow. In November, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows came out on top in independent testing of business security solutions conducted by AV-Test throughout September and October 2012. Kaspersky Lab was also recognized in CRN’s 2012 Annual Report Card taking home the highly coveted honor in the overall Client Security Software category by earning the highest partner-voted scores across all three sub-categories including Product Innovation, Support and Partnership.
