Woburn, MA – February 2, 2011-
Sixteen New England schools are now a few computers richer than before the football season started. Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of Internet security solutions that defend against computer viruses, spyware and all forms of malicious software, has proudly donated 66 computers to New England schools that participated in Kaspersky Lab’s Touchdowns for Technology program, co-sponsored by 98.5 The Sports Hub.

The annual Touchdowns for Technology program, now it its fourth year, reflects Kaspersky Lab’s mission to make the Internet safe for all and to educate people about the threats that exist online.

Kaspersky Lab has donated 234 computers to schools throughout New England. Each week during the regular professional football season, a winner is randomly selected to receive one computer for every touchdown that New England scores, to be given to the school of their choice.
