Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 Earns Top Marks in AV-Comparatives’ Testing

November 4, 2009 - WOBURN, MASS - Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of Internet security solutions, today announced that Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 has been awarded the Advanced+  rating from AV-Comparatives, one of the world's most respected independent anti-malware test organizations.   The Advanced+ certification is the most prestigious accolade issued by AV-Comparatives, which compared 16 leading anti-malware products in its most recent round of malware removal testing.

During rigorous lab tests, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 detected and removed all malware programs from infected computers, which included samples of the NetSky, RJump, Rustock and ZBot viruses, malware which is notoriously widespread and difficult to remove.
