Kaspersky Gives Partners A Peek At Managed Security Service, Small Office Plays

Kaspersky Lab on Friday gave its partners a sneak peak at a trio of new
products the endpoint security player has planned for its channel later
this year.
While specific details were scarce, Kaspersky told more than 200
partners at its 2011 Kaspersky Lab Americas Partner Conference that 2011
will see the release of the Service Provider Edition of its
Administration Kit, a new version of Kaspersky Small Office Security,
and Kaspersky Endpoint Security version 8.
Kaspersky is planning the release of the Service Provider Edition of its
Administration Kit. The managed service products will give partners an
annuity-based security offering they can use to manage anti-malware
deployments for their customers, said Gary Mullen, Kaspersky's vice
president of corporate marketing.
