The Lazarus Group, responsible for the infamous Sony Pictures attack, may have caused a shift allowing for more destructive cybercriminals to exist. Brian Bartholomew, Senior Security Researcher at Kaspersky Lab, spoke with The Cipher Brief regarding the Sony Pictures Entertainment cyberattack, the Lazarus Group and Operation Blockbuster. Bartholomew provided advice to organizations who want to protect themselves from similar attacks, encouraging companies to implement a recovery plan in the event of destructive attack.
