‘Cryptolocker’ Holds Computers Hostage

Hackers have found a new way to lock your computer, controlling everything on it, until you pay a ransom. The F.B.I. is calling this one of the most sophisticated computer viruses ever. NBC’s Janet Shamlian reports on the Cryptolocker malware in this segment from the TODAY Show. During the segment, the reporter mentions that consumers can use antivirus software to help protect against Cryptolocker, and at the 2:13 mark, Kaspersky Lab’s software user interface is shown.
