Russia-based security vendor, Kaspersky Lab, made its way into the Americas just five years ago.

In 2009, the vendor grew its business by 30 per cent year-over-year and this year, Kaspersky is expecting more growth, at a 35 per cent rate.

As for its future strategic priorities, Eugene Buyakin, Kaspersky's chief operating officer, said the vendor will focus on a continued geographic expansion, the development of its territory offices, increasing people and support for the channel, research and development, as well as continued investments in organizational maturity and the corporate business as a whole.
