Kaspersky Lab Tuesday announced the rollout of many of the changes to its Green Team partner program that the security vendor discussed at its Americas Partner Conference last February, including new partner tiers and a variety of new tools and resources. The new program introduces Registered, Gold and Platinum tiers, and each level adds additional resources and discounts from the one below it. Kristen Capone, vice president of North American channel sales for Kaspersky, said that while the vendor will be dividing partners amongst those tiers in the next 30 days, about the top 20 per cent of the company’s partners would fit into the Platinum tier.
